Am I the pet photographer for you?
Every photographer puts their best work on their website. But are these best examples just lucky accidents that can’t be reproduced? A highly skilled and experienced photographer produces outstanding results for every client — including you.
Rest assured that none of the portraits on this website are simply “lucky accidents.” My ten years of studio portrait experience along with my continuous professional education through Professional Photographers of America guarantees that your session will result in portraits that are as wonderful as everything you see here.
Most portrait photographers include pets in family portraits from time to time. But a photographer who specializes in animal portraits has worked with hundreds of pets, from the boisterous tiny puppy to the grizzled elder cat. That photographer is ready to photograph your pet with total confidence.
Although humans are welcome to join in portraits, I specialize in pets. Hundreds of pets — mostly dogs and cats, with the occasional sugar glider, lizard, or parrot — have come to the studio for portraits. There’s no need to worry about what your pet will do or how they will behave. Working with animals, just as they are, is my specialty. And I guarantee the results.
Our lives are filled with digital files, and they seem so easy. That’s why many photographers complete their service to clients by handing over a thumb drive of photo files. But most of those files are never printed or even looked at again. A photographer who specializes in helping you select and design finished products ensures that those portraits are on the wall to enjoy, not stuck away in a desk.
I’ve invested in testing many of the best archival photography products available to professional photographers, and have curated the most special of those to offer you. I can stand behind these products with a lifetime guarantee, and I love helping you make the perfect choices for your home. Software even lets us preview portrait options on your own walls!
What else do you want to know about me?
Just guessing, but you probably want to know if I have pets of my own! I adore cats and have had many over the years, but right now I have four boy dogs — Darwin, a Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise mix (shown modeling for me); Lobo and Garrison, both Chihuahua mixes; and our big boy Gus, a Giant Schnauzer/Standard Poodle mix.
I’ve studied and worked with animals for many years outside of pet photography. I have a bachelor’s degree in zoology and a master’s degree in animal behavior. I had a fun stint at the Akron Zoo as the zoo educator and fill-in zookeeper.
For me, having a business is a wonderful opportunity to create a welcoming environment for the fabulous diversity of both animals and people that the world has to offer. I cherish getting to know each and every one!
I'll brag just a little...
